Dr. Jeroen Jansen from Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen will for the next two years visit our group regularly, with approximately four visits a year. He has already been here twice, in November 2012 and this week. On the 12th of February he gave a talk entitled “Individual Differences, how Plant Ecology, Personalized Health, and consumer preferences tie in together” which describes much of his current activities We look forward to further work with Jeroen and hope for a fruitful cooperation.
Jeroen Jansen holds an Assistant Professorship at the Chemometrics group of the Radboud Universiteit Nijmegen with a focus on integrating biological and industrial concepts with multivariate data analysis to obtain more information-rich and dedicated chemometric models including industrial spectroscopic and other “omics” data. He has an M.Sc degree in chemistry and chemical engineering from Universiteit van Amsterdam (2001), and a Ph.D from the Process Analysis and Chemometrics group at the Universiteit van Amsterdam in 2005.
